North Salinas River Restoration Day July 2026

Join Monterey Waterkeeper at the North Salinas River for regular water testing and a river cleanup along the banks. This area undergoes regular dumping, resulting in pollution seeping into in our river, groundwater, and washing out into our Monterey Bay.

Help us restore this site by picking up trash, testing the water for environmental conditions and contaminants, and plant native vegetation to reduce erosion and filter out pollutants before they enter our precious waterways.

To Bring: Please bring water, a hat, sunscreen, and wear closed-toe shoes!
Monterey Waterkeeper will provide clean up, water quality testing devices, observation sheets, and planting materials.
