Beach cleanup and swim to celebrate Plastic Free July and California Swim Day

Monterey Waterkeeper invites Central Coast residents to a beach cleanup and swim to celebrate Plastic Free July and California Swim Day on Friday, July 25, at Carmel River State Beach, located at 26478 Carmelo St., Carmel, CA 93923. The event begins at 2:00 p.m. This event is free and family-friendly! July 25th is Swimmable California Day – a day when people across the state celebrate access to clean, healthy water for cooling off, exercising, and enjoying our unparalleled natural areas.

Cleanup supplies and refreshments will be provided. Please bring your own reusable water bottle!
